Evansville Police say a man already considered a serious violent felon was found to have weapons and ammunition.
Officers say they spotted 36-year-old Jonathan Jones commit several traffic violations.
When they pulled him over, they found weapons and accessories, drugs, and a handwritten piece of paper with the names of EPD officers.
Police got a search warrant for the shed where Jones lives on South Harlan Avenue.
They say it’s the same shed they searched in 2023 after a shots-fired run.
This time, they found more weapon accessories along with smoking pipes, meth, and marijuana.
