An Evansville man is in jail following a hit-and-run incident.
On Sunday, deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Ohara Drive, where the victim told deputies that a neighbor down the road had hit her vehicle and driven away.
Patrick Colbert was later found at a residence where he had slurred speech and difficulty maintaining balance.
His wife told deputies that he left the home sober to get a soda at a gas station and came back intoxicated.
A vehicle search revealed an open and empty whiskey shooter, an open cold can of beer, and two open and empty Beat Box drinks.
Colbert faces OWI charges, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
