A tip regarding drug dealing at an Evansville hotel leads to the arrest of a Tennessee man and a Mt. Vernon woman.
Earlier this week, law enforcement attempted to stop Carl Allen Jr. in the lobby.
However, rather than surrendering, he attempted to flee on foot.
Detectives watched Allen throw more than $900 into the air, along with a plastic bag containing fentanyl.
After a brief foot pursuit, Detectives took Allen into custody without incident.
Miah-Reighn Franklin was located inside the hotel room and had to be physically restrained.
Multiple digital scales were found along with loaded syringes, marijuana, and a loaded handgun.
