I-69 ORX Approach Bridges Almost Finished On Indiana Side

Transportation officials say the Indiana approach bridges for the I-69 Ohio River Crossing project should be finished by month’s end.

Since 2024, crews have been building the approach bridges on the Indiana side.

Although the bridges will not be open to traffic for a while, they will provide all-weather access to the main bridge’s construction site.

The main bridge over the Ohio River is expected to begin in the spring and be completed by 2031.
