Fifty Indiana National Guardsmen are headed for a ten-month tour of duty at the U-S/Mexico border.
Governor Holcomb sent them off from Camp Atterbury Thursday morning.
The soldiers and airmen will help with the migrant crisis working alongside the Texas National Guard and the Department of Public Safety.
For the last month, troops have worked with instructors from Indiana University taking a crash course in Spanish.
