The Red Bank Library branch will shutter on December 12th, just ahead of the wrecking ball.
The Evansville/Vanderburgh Public Library identified the need for a substantially larger facility for western Vanderburgh County.
They’ll demolish the present location and build a new one with 20,000 square feet, multiple meeting rooms, and space for 80,000 items.
The present Red Bank Library opened in 1991.
