Millions in federal money are coming to Western Kentucky following the final passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2026.
This bill included $2 million to help Lewisport construct a new regional Water Treatment Plant.
Greenville will receive over $850,000 for upgrades to its plant.
Nearly $800,000 will go to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office Community Response and Safeguard Initiative.
The news comes the same day funding was announced for a childcare facility in Owensboro.
