A new lifesaving device is now available in Gibson County.
Project Lifesaver is designed to help find people prone to wandering due to conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism, and traumatic brain injuries.
The person wears a wrist-worn transmitter, enabling emergency responders to locate them quickly.
The device is also available in Posey County, as well as Ohio and Daviess Counties in Kentucky.
