The President’s Cup is staying in Evansville after the Thunderbolts beat the Peoria Rivermen 6-4 Saturday night.
They won game 5 of the best-of-5 series in the finals.
This makes the Thunderbolts back-to-back league champs.
The Thunderbolts’ Isaac Chapman was awarded “First Star” of the game, while the Bolts’ Captain Matthew Hobbs was named SPHL President’s Cup Finals MVP.
Everyone is invited to a Championship Rally tomorrow night from 6 to 8 at the Ford Center.
