Tri-State Food Bank received approximately 40,000 pounds of food donations from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
They donated a truckload of shelf-stable food items as part of a larger initiative for America’s 250th anniversary.
They delivered 250 truckloads to 250 food banks across the country.
With kids out of school for the summer, the donations couldn’t have come at a better time.
Tri-State Food Bank plans to distribute the items across the 33 counties it serves.
