Three people are facing attempted murder charges after a Saturday morning traffic stop in Evansville.
Police say they discovered the driver had been struck with a firearm, assaulted, and possibly stabbed in the head.
The injuries stemmed from an incident that happened over a year ago.
Officers believe the victim had been set up.
Information gathered during the investigation identified Logan Goines, Tiffany Bulich, and Ashly Helms as possible suspects.
Goines was arrested and charged with attempted murder, battery, and theft of a firearm.
Bulich and Helms were charged with aiding and attempted murder.
