WASHINGTON, Nov 3 (Reuters) – An Oklahoma City man was charged with sending hundreds of threatening letters to state election officials, lawmakers, pollsters and media organizations ahead of the midterm congressional election.
Robin Martin was charged in US District Court in Oklahoma with conveying false or misleading information and hoaxes and mailing threatening communications. Powders in letters tested have been determined to be either yeast or flour, the FBI said in an affidavit.
